Where did Fall semester go?

I officially sign up for my last semester of classes on Friday. That's creepy. I don't know what to think about the fact that I only have 1 semester left until college is over. Then off to the real world. Crazy.

I have 3 real classes to sign up for (2 nutrition classes and a genetics class), and 2 kinesiology classes that i'm signing up for. Why not? It'll be a fun semester. And I've really not heard anything bad about genetics, so it's ok with me that I have one more science class to get through.

So for the next year, I've decided to take some time off and work and get my bearings straight before jumping into an internship or more schooling or something. My mind hasn't quite been made up, so this is the best solution. Hopefully by the end of that year, I will know what I want to do.

Anyway, first I have to get through my nutrition 405 test this afternoon. Then I can worry about the rest of my life. 3 more weeks till school's over for the semester. AH! FINALS ARE COMING!

What is this so called "life after college"?

So I have thought a lot about the next year of my life, and I've made at least a bit of a breakthrough: I've decided to take a year off after graduation and work and get experience before jumping into internships or whatever. Initially, my plan had always been a. graduate. b. go to dietetic internship. c. take registered dietetian test. d. get job somewhere. However, since i have experienced absolutely NO happiness in preparing for my RD, I've decided to reconsider.

So here's the plan for the year after graduation:
1. get a job
2. study for the GRE
3. take said GRE to keep my options open
4. decide what i want to do with my life.

Some things i've been playing around with as far as opportunities go:
1. internship (obviously... it's still in the running)
2. culinary school. specifically pastery and baking. no, i will not give you free pasteries for life.
3. become a bum and travel for the rest of my life.

Just kidding on that last one. But I would like to travel at some point very soon. But that's an entirely different subject.
