This has been an awesome weekend

Friday was officially the day that I was test free for a whole week and a 1/2. Holy cow! Alleluja. Amen. I ended up watching Aladdin, Ashley came over after that and we hung out, and then I just went to bed whenever I wanted to. Oh yes, it was beautiful. No stress over upcoming tests or anything. Granted, this will be the last weekend until summer that this happens, but oh well. I'm taking advantage.

Saturday I woke up to the buzzing of my alarm at 10 AM (not bad), and headed over to Twin City Missions to volunteer with my friend Madison. We were sitting in the kitchen waiting to serve, when this man came over questioning us as to what we were doing that day, and whether we wanted to go to Navasoto with him. We politely declined, and the manager of the kitchen yelled at him because he wasn't supposed to be there. After we were finished in the kitchen, the nice manager walked us both out just in case the man was still there. After the kitchen, I came home, ate lunch, went to the grocery store, saw Uncle Johnny and Stephanie while I was there, and came back home to lounge some more. I was so proud of myself: I made homemade tacos for dinner last night, and they turned out pretty good! Yay for me :)

Anyway, I went to bed last night knowing that it was Daylight Savings time, so I decided that when my alarm went off this morning I'd decide whether to get up. I finally got up around 12, and forced myself out of bed. Now, this next part might shock some of you, so get ready:

I mowed AND edged this afternoon!!!!

That's right. I am such a good property manager :) Anyway, that takes us up to now, as I am sitting here really wanting a shower. So that is what I am going to do now. I hope this blog update was sufficient, because you might not see another big one until summer. Lots of tests coming up, and I can't predict how busy I will be. Until next time...
