A major update is in order

So, I guess I'll be good and post an update seeing as how I've had yesterday AND today off from school. Why they closed A&M 2 days in a row for somewhat bad weather? I don't know. They wouldn't close school if there was a hurricane coming our way, but they'll close for icy conditions.

Christmas break was wonderful. Too short in my opinion, but I got a lot of laziness in :) One HUGE thing I got for christmas: a bread maker. It is AWESOME. I've already made 2 batches of my mom's famous homemade sweet sourdough bread, and it turned out great. I can't wait to try another type of bread sometime soon. Cameron and I have discussed some bread for gourmet grilled cheeses, so that may have to happen. Unfortunately, Cameron is stuck in Dallas this week because of the winter weather, so we'll just have to do our kitchen adventures later.

This last weekend was fun- Rick and I went to Houston to visit his family and try to get his poor laptop fixed. Poor Hondo (that's the name of the computer). He's been sick for the past few weeks, and now he won't even boot up. So he's at the doctor now. We also went to Fry's, where we will no longer go because of their inability to give you a good deal on a Wii. Rick bought his Wii from there, and they made you get 5 games with it. He would have gotten those games eventually, but one crucial game they didn't have: Zelda. That's just crap. We were very annoyed. Anyway, Rick learned his lesson to never give them his money again. Try somewhere else. They rip you off.

And now, we wait to see if classes will be on for tomorrow. I'm thinking they will be, but I also thought they would start today too. So you never know. But I'm all prepared with all my notebooks and spirals and whatnot. Thursday is a busy day with 3 classes, so that should be interesting. Fridays are awesome because I only have one class.

Anyway, I guess that's about all for now. I'll try to be better at updating.
