Internships galore!
I am currently blogging from my mom's computer in Dallas. It's been a hectic weekend. Really, it's been a hectic several weeks.
Thankfully, the hard work I've put in the last few weeks has paid off. I'm basically done with one of my classes (seminar), where I got a 47.5 out of 50 on my presentation. Yay. I also got done with my food science test on Friday, which is by far one of the easiest classes ever. I'm also figuring out getting this GRE stuff done by the end of this semester.
As far as internship stuff goes, I went to visit two that I was interested in applying for. On Friday afternoon, I went to Presbyterian Hospital and got a tour from the dietetic internship director. It was definitely enlightening. The second was Saturday morning where I went to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas and attended their open house. Between those two choices, after looking at each, I definitely enjoyed Baylor better. It had a better atmosphere, and I was more comfortable with the people as well.
So I am going to have to make some life changing decisions in the next few months, and it's scaring me a bit. Hopefully I'll be able to stay calm and collected throughout, but I may have to throw in a rant here and there.
