Christmas Break 2005-2006
This break has been awesome. Lots of good times... I guess I'll just start from the beginning.
The day of my last final, Cameron came down to C.S. to have her Vet school interview. We hung out and watched Finding Nemo. That was really nice. A day after that, I spent lots of time with Liz and her roomies. So sad that she's not going to be here in the spring, but that will just have to mean lots of phone calls and IMs to eachother.
I got home eventually, and the awesomeness of sleep happened. I don't think one day has gone by this break without at least 8 hours of sleep. Sweet. The first few days of the break went by really fast... probably because I had to scramble to get all my Christmas shopping done for everyone.
Christmas eve was fun with church at 5:30, then dinner, then games and chatting with Cameron, Matt, Luke, mom and dad, and the Halls (Mr., Mrs., Bryan and Leslie). Christmas morning started at 9:30 (i bet the rents appreciated that) and we opened presents. Matt and Cameron joined in after a bit, and then we had grilled cheeses for lunch. Soon after, we headed out to C.S. for our first ever Christmas day at Uncle Johnny's and Aunt Cindy's. It was cool. Mom and the uncles planned out a really neat tribute to Grandpa that turned out to be really nice.
The next Thursday was the Roberts' Christmas at Grandma's. Lots of presents, loudness, and fun. Though, this time it seemed like the traditional couch seatings were a bit crowded. Every year we gain a person on the same sized couch reserved for the under 30 crowd. But that made it all the more interesting.
New Years eve for me was spent at Jeff's house where I got to spend quality time with all my friends from High School plus lots of time with Barb (one of Jeff's 7 roommates). The rest of the time after that has been spent doing lots of painting, watching t.v., reading, and sleeping. It's been wonderful. Who knew so much productivity can come out of doing nothing? Soon I will be going back to school to start another round of hard classes. But no worries... I'll update more this semester.

First of all, yay a post! Second, I think you can probably call my parents by their first names now - they are semi-family now! Also, Bryan is a Klingner, not a Hall =P (now as to what their children will be named...)
Had to stop into your reality for a bit. Sounds like your reality is doing well. Step into my reality when you get a chance and read all that you can. Spread the word about my blog. I'm trying to get out there with these poems I write. They fall under a new category named reality writing.
