The home stretch...

Well, let's see... I had an awesome Thanksgiving. I held my own Thanksgiving feast on the Tuesday before turkey day because I wanted to have a dinner with my friends before we all went our seperate ways. So that was fun. Everyone brought a dish or contributed in some way, and everything went so smoothly. I really had a lot of fun.

Wednesday evening Mom, Dad, and Luke came into College Station and we went out to eat with the cousins as well. Then Luke and I headed back over to the duplex so I could a) catch up on his life, and b) make the sweet potato casserole for Thanksgiving day. It was really fun hanging out and just doing NOTHING. I needed a break.

Thursday we had Thanksgiving dinner at my aunt and uncle's house, and it was AWESOME. And I have to say, my sweet potatoes were pretty good. Yay for being able to cook. :) We sat around to let the yummy food digest, and then mom, dad, and Luke had to leave because HP had a game at Texas Stadium the next day. I opted to stay in C.S. for the night and go back to Dallas on Friday because Taylor needed a place to stay for the t.u. / A&M game.

Taylor came over around 9 on Thursday night with Sheena (a drum major friend of ours). We hung out Thursday night, and Friday morning they rushed off to get ready for the game.

I then went off to Dallas and got to see the HP game. They won 45-20 something (WHOOP!) against Ennis. Matt, Cameron, Graham (a high school friend) and many other old band friends were there, so that was nice to see them all.

I came back to C.S. Saturday afternoon because, unfortunately, I had to study for a big test this week. Speaking of tests, my first FINAL is next friday!!! AHHHH! The end is near, and I'm not ready for it. But it will be good to finish out the semester. It's been rough.

And now, I must get back to studying. No more procrastination.
